Some WinCE devices claim full PalmOS exchange compatibility. I wonder how they get arround that problem.
If your PocketPC is not meant to be PalmOS compatible, you can't just beam also because of protocol difference. If press receive on a Win CE device the Win CE device the receiving device starts discovery operation which is just opposite of Palm. I think you must be aware of the various other problems related to IR on Win CE. Look into archives I am sure you'll find a lot of more information there. In short you must have two options in menu to send data to either Palm or Win CE.
