You want to know whether you're talking to a PDA running Palm OS, and not just any PDA. For example, a WinCE device should probably be sent the unwrapped file, but it will set the PDA hint bit. I think the latest Pocket PC devices support OBEX, so the OBEX hint bit won't help distinguish between Palm OS and other PDAs. You might want to see what IAS attributes are defined by Windows and Palm OS (and WinCE).
