It works for me, with a small observation:
I use card 0 for the data base.

While HostFS is operational, try creating
a data base on card 1, and you will
receive an error. However you can create and
read data bases from card 0, even if your
app was launched from HostFS folder.
This is the way I have it.

Looks like HostFS folder is not an extra card
for PalmOS. It is a kind of fantom that exists
for specially built 'full' ROMS and POSE, but
not for real Palm. I wonder if you can create
data bases on HostFS folder.

Subject: Launching app from memory card

I'm trying to get my application to launch from a simulated memory card and
everything seems to work except my app can't find its database. I double
checked and the bundled bit is set properly, the creator ID's are the same
and HostFS is loaded. If I install the app's database by hand and launch the
app from the memory card everything works fine which leads me to believe
that the database isn't being copied to the storage heap.

Is there something else that I'm missing? Is this something that POSE has a
problem with and I can only test on an actual device?

I'm running version 3.3 of POSE with an m505 debug ROM.

Thanks,
