Hello, I built an application that uses the serial port at 300 baud to communicate with an external moisture-measuring device. This program works fine on my Palm IIIxe, but when I upgraded to an M505 this week it no longer works.
The moisture device I am communicating to only supports 300 baud, so I used an oscilloscope to verify the baud rate. The IIIxe measures 300 baud as expected, but the M505 is trying to communicate at a much higher baud rate (600 - 900 bps) than the specified 300 baud. I have read in this group where 300 baud did not function with the Palm V or VII series. Is this also the case with the M500 series, and does anyone know of a workaround for this problem?
