Hi all,
When I call the NetLib function
hostInfoP = NetLibGetHostByName (sNetLibRefNum,
hostNameP,
hostInfoBufP,
kNetTimeout * SysTicksPerSecond (),
&err);
The call fails and returns an error in the param &err.
So I check what this error is by printing it out.
StrPrintF (sText, "Error %c retrieving host address", err);
But instead of getting one of these following possible errors

netErrTimeout
netErrNotOpen
netErrDNSNameTooLong
netErrDNSBadName
netErrDNSLabelTooLong
netErrDNSAllocationFailure
netErrDNSTimeout

netErrDNSFormat

netErrDNSImpossible

netErrDNSNoRecursion

netErrDNSNotInLocalCache
I get the error �P�. When i print it out as an integer it is Error 4688.
Has anyone come across this error and know what it means? I�ve searched
through the knowledge base, documentation and newsgroups, but I havent found
this error.
