If you can't understand the source code for GCC, why do you insist that you know a better way to make the tool-chain work for multi-segment Palm OS apps? It's fine if you just want to entertain yourself by screwing up your own development environment, but please get over the notion that you are up to the challenge of making a better tool chain. I think John's explanations of this matter are very clear and convincing. And, on an entirely different subject... > You aren't going to adopt MS style > (do what we do, and don't ask any > questions), are you ? That (the slur on MS, and the slur on John) is so far from reality that it is hardly worth refuting. However, it does reveal a bit about your mind set. You think "GCC is open source. I am a programmer. I can make it better." The odds are certainly against you. __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Check out Yahoo! Shopping and Yahoo!
