DmWrite calls DmWriteCheck to ensure that the certain conditions are true before attempting the write. It checks for all the normal things one would imagine (zero size chunk, bounds overwrite etc). If you are calling DmWrite in your code check that it is passing sensible values through.
Are you storing the value of the selection in a db record? Maybe you are writing over the end of it? The application this applies to is a search form...some of the selections in the drop down menus in the form are quite long..with the text stretching off the screen. If I submit the form to try to search with one of these long text options selected, I get this error and the palm crashes. It doesnt seem to be able to handle selections that do not fit in the screen.
