I noticed two problems with forms. I was wondering if anyone else had run
into these. If I have a field typed as numeric in constructor, and use the
backspace stroke in graffiti or use the backspace key on the keyboard my
program aborts. All I had to do was uncheck the numeric hickey in
constructor and check the data in my program which I was going to do anyway.
It took me awhile to recognize that it was only on numeric fields where the
problem occurred.
The other problem has caused me more frustration. I have a form with a
single field on it. Any time I try to set focus to that field in my program
the program aborts with a bus error exception. A subsequent screen in the
codewarrior debugger says it occurred in FldGrabFocus - this was after a
call to FrmSetFocus. I'm able to set focus on fields on other forms and
this particular form works fine if the user sets the focus with the stylus.
I tried deleting the form and recreating it with different names on things.
I think I spent four hours on that yesterday and still can't get it to work.
Has anyone got any ideas about this?
