I did not generate 'tSTR', but other types. I don't know any reason one cannot
make a 'tSTR' but others.
The steps:
1. Find the database using creator and type ('appl'). Open by name and cardno
is not reliable sometimes because the app name may be change by user.
2. Open it with readwrite mode
3. Call DmNewResource, give it type and size
4. Put your stuff in with DmWrite after locking it down
5. Unlock and release that resource
6. Close the database
