Hello Everybody, Has most of you may already know, is that I'm working on a PL/I for Palm project (see signature below!).. I've receive the following comment from Pietro F. Maggi:
> I agree with what Mr Gorsline says 100%, what I likes the most is the > possibility to target multiple compiler (currently I'm working with CW). > My be that is possible to use some kind of XML "meta-code" generation. > What I'm thinking about is that your program can generate some kind of XML > "meta-code" with different XSL to target the different compiler/system. > I'm thinking about this after a quick look to "Code generation templete > using XML and XSL" on the C User Journal of Jan/02, available on-line: > > http://www.cuj.com/articles/2002/0201/0201a/0201a.htm?topic=articles What do you guys think? Can CW/PRC-Tools compile XML "meta-code" ? I unfortunatly have no knowledge of XML/XSL. The goal is to make that compiler support all new/existing PalmOS API features. The compiler will translate PL/I code to PRC-Tools, which afterwards can be compile to a final Palm application (*.prc) using the PRC-Tools Builder. Where can I find more info. (if any!) on XML/XSL and Palm ? Any comments more than welcome !
