I have an application that uses some rather large files. One of them has
over 22,000 small records. I packed them into 40 record blocks in my
conduit to download them. The conduit part happens fairly quickly - maybe 3
minutes. I have another routine that runs when the PDA program starts that
unpacks the records. I've been running this on an SBT 1500 and it goes
pretty quickly albeit with smaller files. I'm trying it now on a Handspring
Visor and it's spent 25 minutes on the first file and it's not done with it.
Should the visor be that much slower?
I'm using dmquery to read the records and dmnewrecord and dmwrite to read
and write the records is there a faster way?
