Sorry for the off-topic post but it is the only way I know to contact other developers.
I have kept a chart of sales from PalmGear, Handango and other for the past 2 years. Historically Jan, Feb and March are good months, following Christmas. My software has held steady to this historic data. But I find that PalmGear is about 1/8th of the data reported for last January and for the first time is 1/4th that of other distributors. Other distributors are holding to the historic trend. I'd like to know if other developers are experiencing a dropoff or increase, from PalmGear. If you have an increase, was that because of additional advertizing or featured product, etc? If you have a decrease, is it significant over past experience? With the recent fee increase announced by PalmGear and a corresponding dropoff in sales, I'm wondering if the increase is justified. I'm trying to determine if this is just a shift from one distribution site to another or if there is some other problem that I should be working.
