As many of you know, this years PalmSource conference will feature 802.11b
(WiFi) access throughout the facility.
In order for everyone to take advantage of this access HandEra and Symbol
have teamed up to provide 200 WiFi-enabled HandEra 330 devices for attendees
of the conference. These devices will be available for the duration of the
PalmSource Expo (February 6-7) at the Symbol pavilion in the main Expo hall.
The devices will be provided free of charge upon completion of a rental
agreement.
These special HandEra 330 handhelds will include Lithium Ion batteries,
Symbol Wireless Networker WiFi CF Cards and the following software:
-AOL Instant Messenger
-Eudora Internet Browser
-LAN Status network information application
-Network-aware Mail application
These units will be pre-configured for the PalmSource WiFi network, but
additional software can be loaded at the users discretion.
