I struggled a bit with this myself. It seems that you in fact have to post a new url to clipper ... :( What I don't get is this: "Use the Palm tag to launch an application. Your web clipping application is terminated, and when the launched application exits, your web clipping application is reinvoked in its initial state." (Clipping Faq, Advanced topics ...)
