I have a Handspring Visor Edge that allows Hotsync via USB or serial port of the PC. After doing Hotsync via USB port, I cannot open a Palm program that requires the use of serial port. The error usually is "Cannot open port" or "Cannot close port". So I what I need to do is to Hotsync again this time using serial port option and the Palm program mentioned above is back to normal. Does anyone see this problem before? What I can do with the serial driver software for reseting the USB configuration after a Hotsync? Thanks.
