What site are you looking at for this info? The current version of CodeWarrior for Palm OS is version 8, released last October. It includes the Palm OS 4.0 SDK, and supports developing code for all Palm OS devices from the Pilot 1000 to the latest ones from Palm, HandEra, Handspring, and Sony.
