Yeah, this is what I finally did - and it works indeed! But it is a real pain to do it. I suggest to write these facts down somewhere on http://www.palmos.com/dev/tools/gcc/index.html otherwise this newsgroup will further be flooded with questions like "how can I get my Debugger work with gcc".
