Hi people, newbie in the house!

I am located in Sweden and use an m505 with the PPK keyboard and the 1.6
driver from the ThinkOutside site. I want to re-map a few of the keyboard
keys to some of those we use here, found in the Latin-1 supplement.

For this purpose, I think creating a custom PPK layout is the best way to
go. I was hoping I could just use the dev.kit and sample app I found at
ThinkOutside, modify the assignments for these three keys on four of the
layouts and run it trough MAKE, but I was obviously mistaken.

The PPK-devkit includes a CodeWarrior v6 file that I opened in the
CodeWarrior trial version 8. It was converted on first open to the v8
format. When running MAKE, I do get a semi-working PDB-file, the file loads
to my Palm and can be accessed and selected within the PPK-driver. The sad
thing is that the keymap is seriously scrambled.

It seems shifted two rows down and kind of wrapped around the edges. Many
keys produce no result at all. No errors or warnings are given from CW, so I
assume this small project lies below the limitations in codesize for the
CW-demo. I have installed but not yet tried to use the GCC tools. Truth be
told, they scare me a little :-) but if they can do the job right, I'll put
in the effort.

I'm a little lost for my next step here, so your collective knowledge is
humbly requested.

TIA!

peace,
Tormod in Stockholm
