I have a copy of the book. The book is really fairly high-level, talking about sprites, sound, and such, but to me there isn't enough meat that you can't get from anywhere else (for example, the Palmsource knowledge base has a great article on games and animation that covers most of the same material, although the book is a little better on the sound side). Nothing on more advanced topics such as writing your own graphics access.
For game programming newbies only - I was very disappointed. My $0.02 US...
