You mean bits, right? :-)

I knew about the extra 2 bytes involved as far as record info, but that's
in the storage area.  What I meant was any different in the _dynamic_ area
of RAM (I guess I should have put a little more stress on that word).  If
I remember correctly, 100 bytes are allocated in the dynamic area when a
database is opened, to handle overhead of the open database.  I was
wondering if there was any difference there for a resource database.
