Hi all-

I'm trying to use the exchange manager to beam an application from one
device to another. If I use the standard ExgPut, ExgDBWrite,
ExgDisconnect, the PalmOS takes over, and displays several dialogs
during the process. If the exchange fails for some reason, it puts up
a dialog, and doesn't release control back to my app until the user
clicks the ok button.

What I'd really like is to control this feedback to the user, and
potentially try again without user intervention.

In the ExgSocketType record, there is a flag for
noStatus // Do not display status dialogs
I tried changing this but it has no effect on the emulator. Any ideas
on how I can do this?

PS. I cannot "write a receiving app" and use a custom exchange
format, as there is no way to get the "receiving app" to the receiving
palm prior to interacting with this application.

Cheers,
Ted
