Exactly. We could theoretically put together a Palm OS 5 simulator for Mac
OS, but it'd be big-endian and thus would be significantly different in the
pragmatics of operation from a real Palm OS 5 device. Once simulation gets
to be too different from the real thing, its value drops significantly.

Given infinite time and money, it'd be nice to have a Simulator on
big-endian platforms, but all things considered, faster access to other
tools and features are probably a better use of our (and your) time.

Of course there'll be an emulator for ARM-based Palm OS devices on the
various platforms, so it really is just like before, except that the Mac OS
and Windows positions are reversed in this matter.
