Its best to use a third party tool. HandEra sells FlashPro and related products that work on many devices, including a version that is embeddable into your own applications. Brayder sells JackFlash, a popular end-user flash management app that works with a wider range of devices than FlashPro. While some Palm OS devices do write back to their flash chips (the Palm VII and VIIx use this to store Mobitex registration data, for example), this isn't something supported by the OS. -- Ben Combee <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> CodeWarrior for Palm OS technical lead Get help at http://palmoswerks.com/ -- For information on using the Palm Developer Forums, or to unsubscribe, please see http://www.palmos.com/dev/support/forums/
