Hi,

An open source (java) version of the Palm Desktop application has been
released.

To allow for a flexible and powerfull application, it has been build on top
of the eXchaNGeR XML browser framework. The xngr browser allows for
associating XML element-types with services. (http://xngr.org/)

Three fully functional services have already been created, the Addressbook,
Todolist and Memopad services. These services associate themselves to
XML-elements as defined by the (java) XML conduits.

The Java XML conduits together with a java conduit manager can be found at:
http://xngr.org/cmanager/index.htm

All this has been released as open source, this to provide a more flexible
application and to allow for active involvement of anybody who wants to.

Please send your remarks or queries to [EMAIL PROTECTED] or if you want to be
involved in the development process, send a mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED]

To log your bugs and for downloads please visit the sourceforge sites:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/xngr/
http://sourceforge.net/projects/conduitmanager/

Any feedback is appreciated!

Have fun,
Edwin
