Hi ! well, you are right, I'm really sorry that I posted this one question three times even when I knew that this was the wrong way to ask for help. My problem was just that I got this error in the night before I had to turn in my final version of the palm application.... So - as you can expect, I was just trying to get the first information about this problem ASAP.. and well, since I got this information I was able to convince my professor to give me one more week to turn in this application... So again, I'm really sorry that I had to go this way, but for my situation it was the only right way to solve my head:-)
Actually, I finally solved the problem with your help. I fired a 'make clean' , but some hours later I went back to a backup-version .. and I totally forgot that this was a version before the 'make clean' call.. So... stupid mistake but it took me quite long to find it. Many thanks again for your help. Dyk. Well, now that I started a discussion about how to write a good make-file I definitely agree that all that directory-stuff (SRCDIR) and (OUTPUTDIR) doesn't help to make the file easy to read... :-) "Brian Smith" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> schrieb im Newsbeitrag news:84747@palm-dev-forum... > > On Wed, 24 Apr 2002, Dyk Corman wrote: > > > yes, or at least there should be several functions within these 2 > > sections. ... or do I have to make anything else than adding this tag > > to the function prototypes in the .h file? > > If you are doing that, and you are including those header files in the > source files that define those functions, then everything should be fine. > If you're doing all of that and still getting the problem, then I don't > know what could be causing that.
