  i downloaded a nice complete cygwin with everything i
  thought i would need if i was to develop cygwin based
  applications as well (make, gcc etc)

  prc-tools requires that you grab make :)

  i believe there is a arm-cross compiler already available
  in cygwin.. (ie: check out gameboy advanced kit)? if you
  know what your doing with gcc - you'll figure it out..

  if not? wait until the "prime time" is ready for it :P
  i am sure, in due time - when John feels it is necessary
  to get ARM support into prc-tools, it'll be included.
