Does anyone know why the Palm500 series of devices will not wake when the page-down button is held down and the address book app button is pressed ? All the other application buttons work fine with the combination of the page-down first and then the app but not the address book. I am guessing it is a change in PalmOS 4.0 and later. Is there a way to fix this ? The handspring devices started having this problem on there devices with their 3.5.2h version of the OS. Perhaps it is simply a hardware issue.
I have an HackMaster based app that behaves differently if the Palm Device is woke with an application button then if it is woke with the Page-Down key pressed and held and then the application button is pressed. This app used to work fine until the M500 series and perhaps version 4.0 of the PalmOS then it started mis-behaving for the Address book button only. It seems to be a low level problem.
