I'll try and be more clear.
On a form I have a label control.
set the font of that label to Symbol
assign that label the value hex 0A
When I run the program the label comes up blank.
Now if I do the same thing to a button control I get the expected output,
the button has a label of (i) the symbol not the actual letter.
