Sounds like im going to have a fun day.

Your idea about using resource with different bases sounds good, but I
allready have my app, which is quite large, so changing it now would be a
nightmare. Im sure constructor would  screw it up somewhere.

  there are some perks with overlays..

  you have a base prc and an overlay prc (postfixed with _enUS etc)
  the os knows to look into the overlay prc for your resources as
  there is a table of resources stored externally within an 'ovly'
  resource. you need to generate this "resource" so that the OS knows
  that there an overlay present.

  to get an idea, grab any program from palm's rom (which has an
  overlay file) and investigate the contents.. regis nicolas prc
  viewing utility does wonders for stuff like this..
