Hi, I am creating a .pdb file on my desktop. I set the attributes of each record to zero. If I double-click on this .pdb file and HotSync, it gets installed onto my handheld and all is well. But if I take the .pdb file and install it onto the Emulator (version 3.5, Windows), all of the records' Dirty flags get set. That is, it appears that installing the .pdb file onto the Emulator changes the attributes to 0x40. I've tried it on several ROMs, including a Debug and a Release ROM, and it seems to be consistent.
Is this the expected behavior? If so, what is the reason for doing this? If not, is this happening because there's something wrong with: 1. How I'm creating the .pdb file? Or, 2. Version 3.5 of POSE? Or, 3. Certain ROM files? In any case, is there anything I can do so that the Dirty flags do NOT get set when installing into POSE? Thanks.
