Hi. I have a client encountered another strange problem when doing the synchronization. He is using the Window XP. He modify some data inside our program and update it (done on Desktop). Before doing the synchronization, he log on two user (his name and his friend) at the same time. When press the sync button, the HotSync Message come out for a while but disappeared suddenly and fastly. I asked him to check the view log, it stated that 'synchronization fails, unknown error F83C'. Because of that, he try to sync again with logging off the other user name but his name remains log-on. The synchronization is done. But strangely the record which was updated on the Desktop is disappeared and Palm is not updated too. For your information, the record updated is in Client.pdb. For the first time (which is failed), the view log showed the Client.pdb but the rest of the tables were not shown. For the Second time (is successfully synchronized), the Client.pdb was not shown where the rest of the tables were shown. I wonder that for the second time, the Client.pdb was not synchronized but the data for the Client.pdb in Palm overwrite the Desktop's data.
