In my further attempts to debug my app on a real handspring device, I figured that my next step was to throw money at the problem, so I bought CW 8. Another reason for doing so was because my PowerBook crashed and corrupted itself twice in 2 days (with a full wipe and reinstall in the middle) under OS 9 (not CW's fault. The emulator likes to crash), and I figured OS X's stability was worth the $$. But, now I can't seem to talk to the handspring at all. Have I shot myself in the foot? Is there a way to talk to a handspring in OS X? Here's the configuration:
Handspring Visor Neo. Handspring Serial Cradle PalmConnect USB adaptor CodeWarrior for Palm 8, patched to 8.2. PalmOS 4 SDK, patched with update 1 and a new Carbonized Constructor. PowerBook G4 500 (revA), 1GB Ram, OS 10.1.5 If there's somewhere I can get a driver or a patch or something, I'd be a very happy man. -- For information on using the Palm Developer Forums, or to unsubscribe, please see http://www.palmos.com/dev/support/forums/
