I am writing a proc alarm. I would like it to behave differently if the device is sleeping (i.e. the screen is OFF) or if it is awake. (Screen is on.)
I tried to use notifiations, to get notified when the device sleeps, but the device wakes up to send me the proc alarm, It does NOT turn the screen on, but it does sent the lazy notification that is supposed to happen only if the screen is going to come on. My question is this: Is there a way to programatically tell if the screen is on or off? If not, is there another way to test if the device is fully awake?
