Now that's a BAD logic. Have you sold software to AOL users?
What if the installation has support for different Palm models (e.g. Kyocera
vs Handspring specific APIs) or if there are different skins for different
resolutions?

Packaging everyithing in a nice executable dramatically cut our support
costs.

BTW, Catapult does parse the USERS.DAT file in order to provide installation
without using InstAIDE. That's also not very good, but it has proven to be
very  well taken risk for over 3 years now.
