We're thinking about giving up trying to continue to support Palm OS devices <= 3.3 because of dynamic memory (heap) issues that are not a problem in newer versions of the OS.
I know this question if fraught with all sorts of difficulties, not to mention getting these types of numbering being almost impossible, but does anyone have a ballpark guess as to how the market is divided along the lines of: % Users with Palm OS <= 3.3 devices % Users with Palm OS > 3.3 devices If you don't know both, I'll just take either. (-: I.e., how many "legacy" devices are out there and still in use. Someone who sells Palm OS software might have enough information about their own users for a ballpark statistic. A further division of "consumer" versus "enterprise/business" users would be nice, too. We're just trying to figure out if we'd really be hurting ourselves by giving up support for the ancient version of the OS. I know that I'd have to go out and buy a new one myself if we did!
