V means 5 as in Palm Vx.
EFIGS means it is a ROM that has resources for the 5 languages: English, French,
Italian, German, Spanish.
Full dbg is a ROM that includes all of the Internet/Web Clipping stuff, whereas, dbg
does not contain clipping stuff.

Your string error means that you've tried to call StrPrintF with an unsupported
formatting argument.

Hope this helps.

Subject: Emulator ROM names?

I tried my program on the POSE with different ROM images and with
some of them my stack overflow error (see previous postings)
disappears. What do all these ROM names mean? Some are explained on
the Palm Website, but not all. What means "v"? What means "efigs"?
What is the difference between dbg and fulldbg?

Talking of dbg: When I try my program with a dbg-ROM I get the error
message "StringMgr.c Line 1697: not supported". I understand that the
dbg-ROM wants to show me that I am using an unsupported feature, but
what is it? I do not even find the file StringMgr.c! How can I get
more information on what the ROM is trying to tell me?

Plese help me out!

Andreas.
