I want to draw some text to the screen, much the way WinDrawChars does, except I don't want to erase what's behind the text. E.g., if there's a line under the text, I want to see it through the text. WinDrawChars seems to erase a rectangular area of the screen before writing -- is there an alternative way to draw text to get the behavior I'm after?
