They're speaking only of Palm.Net (Palm VII and i705). You can use the Internet Library for those, and that supports HTTP (and email, through a special ssytem of theirs). I'm not sure if you'd be able to use that to pull an image down, though... there have been limits spoken of about how large the HTTP request and response can be, but I don't recall what they are. It might be in the list archives somewhere. If you do go the HTTP route, it's easy enough to implement your own HTTP client in other cases, provided you have a good understanding of the Net Library.
