Please don't litter the world with FUD. Installing prc-tools takes
only five minutes too, modulo download time -- provided you follow the
instructions.

(If being asked to follow instructions seems like an unreasonable
imposition, one has the option of buying one of the IDEs that use
prc-tools, at least one of which has an installer that is just "run the
setup.exe", as is typical on Windows. For prc-tools, there is a trade-off
between what is easy for us to maintain and produce and what is easy to
install, so you get an installation procedure that is "as easy as is
reasonable". For a commercial product, the calculations are different
and we can pull out all the stops, accept the maintenance pain (because
someone is paying for it!), and make a one-click installer.)

His problem is really with installing SDKs, not with prc-tools itself.

I think that the question in Frank's subject line is entirely reasonable
and is a concern shared by many.

(My personal guess is that the real issue is that PalmSource has --
reasonably enough -- chosen not to devote many resources to m68k in
general at this time, not just not to the support of m68k GCC. But
that's just my guess.)
