well, its professional suicide if you annoy your users :) hehe

i do know of some people that wont allow your application to move
from device to device. the same issues occur when you have your
unit sent in for repair/upgrade.

however, most developers do offer registration if they ask :)

anyone with half a brain can find the crack/patch for any application
on the palm platform if they look hard enough. so, is it really something
to be concerned about?

we (mobilewizardry) are using encryption etc not to protect the
applications these days, but, to prevent other developers stealing
code/graphics from us :) [not that i expect it to happen, but, you
never know!]
