You should try at the Symbol and Communication forums, but maybe this can
help:

1. The concurrent multi sync for SPT 1800 is the same as for 1700,
theorically the only difference between them is speed and memory capacity.

2. You can check at www.aethersystems.com and look for Scout Sync. It's
very easy to use. It creates a service in NT/2K/XP that manages concurrent
connections and runs a conduit to each connection. Puma technologies
(Satellite Forms) has another multi sync manager, but I don't know anything
about it.

3. The four slot ethernet cradle is just a port for your SPTs to access the
network it has 2 modes of working: DHCP and static mode. Both modes use 6
IP addresses, one for each slot, one for the cradle itself and one for an
expansion port. You can test connection on a cradle from the Network panel
in Prefs in an SPT. You can try at www.symbol.com and look for
CRD1700-4000E

4. Scout works with any Palm device as long as it supports it's client.

5. You can always program your own sync service, if you have the time :)

Bye
