I know of only one instance of CORBA being used for a PalmOS application and that was a project that my old company (The Windward Group) did for a medical application called eScribe. We used CORBA for the communication between the device and the server. I will say that CORBA was used in this case not because it was the best solution for the project but because one of the eScribe guys did CORBA stuff in back in school. I think it was MICO that the work was based upon, but I'm not sure - I was not directly involved with the project... I try Orbix/E but it doesn't work. e*ORB is not available for evaluation and now it is not available at all. I can not make work MICO.
