Well, the 4.2.5 series IDE was developed and finalized almost a year before the 10.2 launch, so the team can't really anticipate what Apple was going to change/break. I would go ahead and remove your old IDE preferences file and let the IDE recreate it on 10.2... I've heard that helps with some things. The crashes on window close seem to be issues with saving the window state which I thought was done as resource modifications to the files, so turning off that setting may help too. >About this, I heard that Macs will NOT be supported in CW/Palm 9. Is this >true? Yes and no. The initial release of V9 will be Win32 only. We're doing a lot of ambitious stuff, and supporting the Macintosh with this would push our release date out several months from November to late January for the additional porting work and QA. However, I am pushing our management to let us do a port the improvements to Mac OS X after the V9 launch, to be released a few months later. The decision has not been made yet; we need to see how the initial launch numbers for V9 go. A lot of the new components should be able to be moved to Mac OS X fairly easily, but some parts of it will require significant new user interface code to work on the other OS, and of course everything has to be tested again for the different configuration. -- For information on using the Palm Developer Forums, or to unsubscribe, please see http://www.palmos.com/dev/support/forums/
