There have been some, ahem, complaints about the speed of the Sony NR70 emulator, so I thought I'd download the source and see if something could be done about that.
Lucky me, I didn't have to do anything - in the source distribution, in one of the subdirectories, there is a 5MB build of the emulator that runs as fast as any other version of POSE you are used to seeing. Looks like the official version is just a debug build, so that's why it's so slow. So, go to the Sony developer site, download the source archive of the NR70 emulator, look for "Emulator.exe" in "BuildWin\Release", and have fun! http://www.us.sonypdadev.com/program/file/NR70pose_Src_3.4b8.zip (requires login) There is one odd thing about this build - the emulated RAM is cleared when POSE is reset, but that's a small price to pay.
