Robert Mackenzie wrote among other things in a post above about datebook synchronization that:
"Lastly you need to consider that your application will not work with future palm OS variants (higher than OS 5.1). DatebookDB will no longer be accessible from other applications and its format is going to radically change." I knew from other posts on this group that the record format would change in the "next big OS release" after 5.0. But I took that to mean Palm OS 6.0. Which is it? And if it is 5.1 does anyone know when 5.1 will be released? Also, is it correct that DatebookDB will no longer be accessible from other applications? Will there be another way to synchronize with the datebook? Because the app I'm developing relies on that pretty heavily. If someone could clarify these issues I would really appreciate it.
