Dear Friends, When I try to emulate the hotsync operation, it generates an error message "The setup on the handheld could not be updated because the PC does not have a hostname or IP address." My machine is a standalone one and no NIC card is present. But the ip address (127.0.0.1) should work???. The operating system version is windows 2000 professional Have you ever experience this type of situation.? If so please let me know. Note:- Network option in the hotsync manager should be set ,, because I'm emulating the operation. Tell me another option other than removing the network option.
