Hi,
There is really no mechanism to simulate the hotsync mechanism from the
desktop to the palm. I have tried doing it but with little luck.
However if that is a compulsion of your application a work around could be
to convert your desktop application data and put it in the palm's default
install directory for your conduit application. correct me if I am wrong!
This way you can have menu or a button for transfer of data to the
'install' folder of the user that you use to hotsync. So every time you
hotsync the data transfer will happen. But this will also depend on what is
the data that you are trying to transfer is it a database file? altough i
must say this is really avery crude mechanism and you will be better off
using the conduit and firing the sync command via the device.

cheers
