Visual Basic - not supported for Palm OS development
C/C++ - full support for Palm OS development
That's pretty much it.
Now if you want to use a 3rd party development system such as Appforge, you
will need to install a run-time interpreter to run your application (and
have to rely on which OS features they choose to support).
There are other VB like development environments such as Satellite Forms or
NS Basic. Each has their strengths and weaknesses but again don't directly
support every API.
My best advice is to try each and see if they fit your needs before buying.
I haven't found a 3rd party Palm OS development system that has met my
development needs so I will suggest sticking with C/C++.
