Can anyone please help shed some light on this problem. We have an application running on Symbol SPT1800. The application opens and closes the scanner engine properly in the AppStart and AppStop routines. But when the app's form is open and HotSync is pressed and I start the app again the scanner engine would not initialise. I then have to do a hadr reset to it working again.
Doe the AppStop get called when the HotSYnc button is pressed while you app is running. If so, why does the scanner engine not seen to close properly? If I exit the app and do a HotSync, all is OK.
