Ya.. I tried without the null modem cable and with a stright cable (with male connectors at both end) also! That too doesn't work:-(

I also tried both settings "phone" and "modem" in the "connect to". Nothing is able to make my Palm talk to phone! [Ideally which one should I select? Phone..???]
